Disclaimer: I have absolutely nothing new to show you.
I have spent the past two weeks enjoying Christmas and New Year's with family and friends, and I have barely touched my sewing machine. So, just to get myself back into the swing of things, I am going to be completely unoriginal and post what ever other crafty blogger out there is posting this week—a mosaic of my favorite projects from 2011. Here ya go:
While I am at it, I may as well mention that I also contributed patterns to a few publications and wrote two free tutorials in 2011:
- Modern Houndstooth Quilt pattern in Fat Quarterly, Issue 4, Winter 2011
- Quilted Bookends in Stitch Magazine, Fall 2011
- Contributor to Modern Blocks by C&T Publishing
- How to Quilt Words and Stars tutorial
- The Type "A" Starburst Block tutorial
And here are some other random blog highlights that don't really fit into any particular category:
- I learned how to make my own handbound journals.
- I traveled to Salt Lake City to attend the Sewing Summit in October (read about the trip here, here, here, and here).
- I won honorable mention in Katie Evans's food photography challenge.
Well, that's a wrap on 2011, project-wise anyway. I am looking forward to what 2012 brings. Hope you had a good new year everyone!

i love everything you make!
ReplyDeleteSuch a cool montage. Is that the right word? I've missed your posts. I think the hedgehog apron qualifies as one of your bests of the year!! It's my favorite thing ever.
