I guess this is another mini-quilt. This was really one of those "I don't feel like starting on a big project because I only have 2 hours to sew this week" kind of project. It's also one of those "Now what do I use this thing for?" projects.
I don't know how big this looks from the photographs (since I have nothing in them for size reference), but this mini-quilt is only 11" x 11". Each of the 17 stars are 3" wide.
I had actually made this quilt block earlier this year with the intention of making it the center of my Wonky Star Quilt, but then I completely forgot to include it when I pieced together the quilt front.
I quilted it with a similar technique as I did with my Orange + Aqua Starbursts mini-quilt, except that instead of a spiral, I followed the outline of the center star and then continued to quilt stars radiating outward 1/4" apart.
You can see the quilting a little more clearly from the back.
This might be it for blog posts this week while I try to finish up work at the office and get ready for Christmas. If I don't post again before Sunday, hope you all have a good one with family and friends!
xx Briana
